AKASHIC Members Working On 'Tango' Project

Guitarist Marcos De Ros and bassist Fábio Alves, members of the Brazilian progressive metal band AKASHIC, are collaborating on a new non-metal project. They have joined forces with Oscar Dos Reis (bayan) and Léo Ferrarini (piano) to record a CD of compositions by Oscar Dos Reis and Ástor Piazzolla, including "Cuatro Estaciones Porteñas" (The 4 Seasons Of Buenos Aires),a masterpiece of the Argentinian tango master. A sample of their work, Oscar's composition "New Mussete", is available at Marcos De Ros' YouTube page.

AKASHIC is continuing to promote its second album, "A Brand New Day", released by Hellion Records. Samples of the CD and the video for the song "Dove" are available here.
